The winning car for the BMW Open by FWU was unveiled by top model and BMW brand ambassador Lena Gercke, who likes to recall the final last year between Alexander Zverev and Philipp Kohlschreiber.
“The atmosphere last year was great, everyone was excited. Of course, I kept my fingers crossed for Sascha and was happy to hand over his new BMW i8 to him,” says Gercke,
who drove the winning car onto the Center Court and is an enthusiastic tennis fan.
“I just love being part of a live tennis match, even in my country,” the top model continues.
For me it was great to be part of this special event in my home club MTTC Iphitos. Lena played with Sasha an entertaining show match against his brother Mischa Zverev and Patrik Kühnen. And once again you have seen that Lena really has a lot of fun on tennis courts – especiall with her favourite tennispartner Sascha 😉
