The ATP tour stops in Monte Carlo, the women’s elite compete at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix in Stuttgart and the excavators are back on the track in Munich at my club working for the BMW Open by FWU. Once again it’s time: we are #BackOnClay

All groundkeepers in Germany are working hard from day to day and across Germany the “Battle for the best prepared clay courts” are on. I am pretty sure that my home club MTTC Iphitos has one of the best prepared clay courts around Germany 😉
The way back to the red courts is something very special for all players and I can’t hardly wait to pursue my passion after a long winter. When I was young my coach told me every April the same story: “Be patient and just hit the ball for two weeks. Try to get your feeling back on cly, find your timing and just hit balls.” And today?
“Come on, let’s play some points. What are we waiting for? We are #backonclay ?
Does this make sense? No. But ultimately it is all about having fun and following your passion to have the best time in every single session on court.
We tennis players are “back on clay” and from now on it starts a very special season for us. We want to play, we want to fight, we want to slide.
