Each of us follows tennis in a individual way. Some of us can’t put their mobile phones down and are addicted to “behind the scene” stories on social media f.ex. Instagram. Others are following only the results on big sports portals to stay up to date.

In our fast-moving society, the quality of information suffers most. Click, post, swipe is the new motto while consuming news.

Results, training methods, best of videos or even new equipment – the founder of the New Yorker tennis journal “RacquetMag” don’t care about this. They publish tennis content in a completely different way.

“We created a journal that celebrates the art, style and culture that surrounds tennis”, Caitlin and David, found RacquetMag.

They remember the swashbuckling sport of the tennis boom of the 70s and 80s and are working to restore some of that swagger to today’s game.

When I was on vacation (> Singapore) I was wondering if there is a creative magazine that combines tennis with lifestyle and art. Here it is.

Stay tuned and learn more about the background of Racquet Mag – one of the most creative tennis journals. And those who won’t be able to wait, they should definitely check out the current RacquetMag podcast, where once again Andrea Petkovic proves her creative personality in an impressive way 😉

Join hosts Rennae Stubbs and Racquet magazine co-founder Caitlin Thompson as they talk to their friends and favorite tennis players about life, love and sometimes even tennis.
