For this youngster the journey as a tennis pro has only just begun. With his victory at the #NextGen finals last year, the 20-year-old has really taken off. During his unbelievable performance at the Australian Open in January, title no. 2 in Marseille followed few days ago and thus he entered the Top 10.
We are talking about “Steve The Hawk”, a young photographer who is currently conquering the tennis world.
Photoshop, Lightroom and Presets are just as much a part of his equipment as the Wilson Blade or the latest adidas X Parley Solecourt Boost. He describes himself as a “world explorer and abstract photographer”.
But what makes the up-and-coming youngster so successful and who is that anyway?
Of course, the success of this aspiring young professional, who is currently ranked 10th in the ATP World Ranking, lies on the court and in the numerous disciplined training sessions between all matches. But there is one thing I don’t think we should forget: there is also a life offcourt.
„It is important for me to have hobbies, to be in my own world. Otherwise I would go crazy.“
Even handling the drones and cutting videos is easy like a dropshot on court.

We are talking about Stefanos Tsitsipas alias @stevethehawk. The #NextGen champion is a person who is interested in a lot of things off the court and is a great role model for today’s youth.
With his own Instagram channel he is a pioneer in an area that only very few top stars have discovered for themselves. He has an eye for the special things in life and on his journey travelling the world. Seems to be similar to Andrea Petkovic, who discovered the topic of columns and book writing for herself.
